The Cave

If I had a second life, I would not be aware of the first life so making my new life the same as my first life would not really be an option. If I could somehow rewind the past and start over, it would be the same. Think of a video, the ending does not change if you simply rewind it. What if I could rewind and change something, If I changed one little thing, that minor change could affect the some of the good things i have experienced in a negative way (Butterfly Effect). Truth is, despite all of the burdens in my life, I am relatively happy with what I have learned and who I have become. I am pretty sure that having a second chance at life without the burden of death first is my definition of the Christians hell. About the cave, I love philosophers... so arrogant. You are all peasants, for I am a philosopher and only the philosopher can see beyond the illusion that is your reality to the truth that reality is my own. Or as I would put it, I reject your reality and substitute my own.
